Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

What: The EAP is a benefit provided by the Guilderland School District to help employees and their
families who are facing a problem in their lives. It is designed to assist with marital, financial, personal, relationship, legal, alcohol, drug or any other concerns.

Who: All Guilderland employees and their dependents can use the EAP service.

Why: The Guilderland School District recognizes the value of good employees. Through the EAP, the district hopes employees will be able to resolve problems that intrude on their work or in their life. People are the most important asset an organization has, and getting help is important to all of us for your future.

How: Getting the help you need is simple. You can call the EAP 24 hours a day, seven days a week to reach a professional counselor. Call the toll free number: 1-800-225-2527 or 800-252-4555 or log onto the web at www.EducatorsEAP.com to access other benefits.

No records or information about an employee’s personal problems will be placed in his/her file. All services are confidential.

For more information or to contact EAP, call 1-800-225-2527 or 800-252-4555 or visit the EAP website.
