GCSD collects nearly 900 books for Project Cameron's Story
Thank you to all the families, students, staff and community members that donated new children's books for the drive that was held to benefit Project Cameron's Story at FMS, AES, and WES. With your generous donations, the district was able to donate 870 books to the nonprofit organization that gives books to help families and babies bond in NICU's around New York. Guilderland's contribution helped the organization reach 12,126 books collected during this year's drive.

On Jan. 29, New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli released the second report of the state’s Fiscal Stress Monitoring System. According to the report, Guilderland Central School District is classified as one of 53 districts “susceptible to fiscal stress,” having earned a fiscal stress score of 26.7 percent out of 100 percent.
