May 24 to be a school recess day
As announced at the April 9 meeting of the Board of Education, and assuming that the district does not experience another emergency closing situation within the next few weeks, all GCSD schools will be closed on Friday, May 24, 2013 due to unused snow/emergency days allocated for the 2012-13 school year. All district and school offices will be closed on that day, as well.

What's new on Channel 16?
Residents in the Town of Guilderland may have recently noticed that Channel 16, operated out of the Guilderland High School Media Department, has undergone a bit of an overhaul. While the programming on the station may look a bit different, you can still find all of the important school information that the community has come to expect. However, the programming schedule will change slightly to accommodate new titles. Viewers may also notice that the music track is no longer WMHT; instead, the music is now courtesy of students in the GCSD music department. In addition, the station is now featuring artwork and photography by students, as well. If you haven't seen it already, we invite you to take a look at the new Channel 16...enjoy!
