Westmere Elementary students raise money for local food pantry

Fourth grade students at Westmere Elementary School collected coins and online donations from May 17-May 28 to benefit the Guilderland Food Pantry. Through remote and in-person donations, the students raised $1831, which will provide 9,155 meals to members of the community. May 28: Covid update; changes to daily screening

COVID-19 cases for the week of May 24 This week there are two new positive cases of COVID-19. Both cases were at Guilderland High School and required contact tracing. Pine Bush elementary students win awards for excellence in the Mathematical Olympiad

A team of Pine Bush Elementary students participated in the worldwide Mathematical Olympiad program earlier this year. Twelve of the mathletes won national awards for excellence, including Thomas Zhong, who was awarded a Gold Pin for scoring in the top 2%.
