A message from Superintendent Wiles
Dear Guilderland CSD Families,
As we wind down for the holiday recess, I promise to keep this message relatively short – and somewhat sweet. There has been no shortage of discouraging news of late so I would like you to go into the break on a positive note.
Every day students in grades K-8 spend a few minutes learning how they can build more positive relationships by seeing the good in themselves and others. Please click here to read about The Positivity Project and how GCSD is using it to support the social emotional health and well-being of our students.

Warmest wishes this holiday season
No matter what you believe or how you celebrate during this season, I hope you join me in appreciating the numerous gifts we’ve been given as part of the GCSD community, and I hope you and your family are able to enjoy the wonderful gifts that come with this time of year.
Please take some time to rest and rejuvenate. I wish you a happy, healthy and peace-filled break.
Sincerely,
Marie Wiles, Ph.D.
Superintendent
