Dear GCSD Families:
The Guilderland Central School District closed today, March 13, 2020, due to a confirmed case of COVID-19 at Farnsworth Middle School.
District officials are actively working with the Albany County Department of Health to assess the situation and identify affected contacts. Anyone identified will be contacted by the county health department. The Albany County Department of Health is coordinating with local pediatric providers to assist with health-related questions and concerns.
This is a rapidly evolving situation. By the end of today (Friday, March 13) we will have more guidance regarding the district’s schedule for next week.
As previously announced, all GCSD schools and school offices will be closed on Monday, March 16, 2020.
