Dear GCSD Community,
As you may have heard yesterday, Governor Andrew Cuomo extended the statewide school closure another two weeks, until April 29.
During this time, GCSD students will continue with online instruction, until April 29 as directed by the Governor. This includes the original April Break week of April 13-17 and the April 10, Good Friday. During our continued closure the district will continue to provide:
- Free breakfast and lunch for children 18 and younger;
- Resources on our website to help essential workers find child care; and
- Continuity of instruction
Also yesterday, the New York State Board of Regents announced its intention to cancel this year’s Regents exams. We will share more information when additional guidance from the State Education Department is made available.
