Guilderland Elementary School students are collecting new socks for a non-profit organization, Things of My Very Own that provides services to children in emergency situations throughout the Capital Region. New socks are one of the greatest demands for the homeless and children/families in crisis. Last year, Guilderland Elementary donated over 500 pairs of socks.
Accepting donations of new socks until Friday, Oct. 23
- Socks in all sizes are welcome (must be new)
- Bins will be located at GES and FMS
- There will also be a bin in the lobby of GES
