Dear GCSD Families,
The Farnsworth Middle School Butterfly Station will be open again this summer. This is the 24th year for this student-run, community service and educational program. To raise money for the program, the Butterfly Station is hosting an online apparel store that will be open until Sunday, June 19. Please consider supporting the program and visiting this summer; the butterfly release is something to see!
No school Monday, June 20; early releases June 23-24
In observance of Juneteenth, all Guilderland Central School District schools and district offices will be closed on June 20. There are no Regents exams scheduled for that day. In addition, on June 23-24 there will be an early release for elementary and middle school students. Students in grades K-5 will be released at 10:50 a.m.; FMS will stagger students’ release from 12:20 p.m. to 12:45 p.m., with students who walk dismissed first.
