Dear GCSD Families,
I’d like to remind GCSD families that at the Board of Education meeting at 7:00 p.m. tonight, Mr. Neil Sanders, the Assistant Superintendent for Business, and I will present the draft of the 2022-23 school year budget to the Board of Education and the Guilderland community. Held in the Large Group Instruction (LGI) room at Guilderland High School, the meeting is open to the public. It will also be live-streamed and can be viewed on the GHS Media YouTube channel.
On Tuesday, March 15, the district will host a question and answer session on the budget. Members of the Guilderland school community may submit questions by emailing superintendent@guilderlandschools.net or are welcome to attend this workshop session in the LGI at GHS.
COVID-19 testing location suspending operation on Mar. 10
Due to low demand, the GCSD testing location will be suspending operation. The last day the testing center will be open is Thursday, Mar. 10. If families are in need of COVID-19 rapid, home test kits, please contact your school nurse.

Farnsworth Middle School: 6 new cases
Guilderland High School: 4 new cases
This week is National School Social Worker Week. GCSD would like to recognize and thank the social workers who support our students and their families. They play a vital role in helping our students succeed both in and out of the classroom.
