Today, the district learned of one individual connected to the Guilderland High School testing positive for COVID-19. The high school’s principal, Michael Piscitelli, is working under Albany County guidelines to determine who needs to quarantine, and he is in the process of contacting those individuals.

Domestic travel advisory changes start April 1, but we still need to be safe
We are a week closer to April break! I urge you to continue to be safe and follow all COVID safety guidelines during your time away from school. As a reminder, starting April 1, domestic travelers entering New York from another U.S. State or U.S. Territory will no longer be required to quarantine. Please be aware and follow outlined procedures. The NYS Traveler Health form can be found here, and here’s the only information available about the April 1 domestic travel changes.
After the April break, the daily health attestation survey for students and staff will reflect the travel advisory changes; therefore, there will not be a question about domestic travel.
