A message from Dr. Wiles:
Dear GCSD Families,
In just a few days, Guilderland Central School District residents will vote on the proposed $109,887,845 budget for the 2022-23 school year. The proposed budget preserves all academic and extracurricular programs while lowering grade eight class sizes. In addition to the budget, voters will also elect four members to the board of education. We encourage families to follow the links to learn about the proposed budget and the candidates for GCSD board of education so that you feel fully informed to make your decision on Tuesday, May 17.
District recognizes employees who have reached tenure and retirement milestones
On May 10, GCSD celebrated faculty and staff who are retiring and those who have been awarded tenure by the board of education. This year, 34 individuals are retiring with more than 800 collective years of service provided to our students, schools and community. We are so grateful for their contributions. In addition, 22 GCSD educators were awarded tenure for demonstrating they have met high standards for outstanding performance. For details and photos of the ceremony, visit the district website or watch the full ceremony on the GHS Media YouTube Channel. We congratulate all for achieving these meaningful milestones!
