The district learned about two new positive COVID-19 cases today. Please see the details of these cases below. As a reminder, you can find COVID-19 updates from the district here.
- One individual of the GHS school community tested positive. GHS principal, Michael Piscitelli is working with the Albany County Department of Health to determine who needs to quarantine. In the interest of time, he is reaching out to those individuals identified as contacts, and the Department of Health should be following up with them.
- One individual of the FMS school community tested positive. The Albany County Department of Health advised that because of when the individual was last on campus, no other individuals from FMS need to quarantine.
Our school community’s health and safety are of the utmost importance to us so that we can continue to support and educate your children during this uncertain time. Please continue to follow safety protocols outside of school, especially during this Thanksgiving recess.
Please contact your building principal if you have questions about the district’s health and safety procedures. You can contact the Albany County Department of Health at (518) 447-4580 for questions related to testing procedures.
